Julia Skolnik, MSEd
Julia Skolnik was the Assistant Director of Professional Development at The Franklin Institute. She oversaw professional development initiatives and partnerships with school districts and out-of-school time organizations, as well as developing and leading workshops for educators and corporate professionals.

Julia's areas of expertise include translating research in neuroscience and cognitive science to educators, STEM curriculum and facilitation, and designing district-wide approaches for changing educational practice. Before coming to The Franklin Institute, she was a licensed elementary teacher, worked in a memory research lab at the University of Pennsylvania, and developed STEM curricula and professional development for Chicago-area teachers at Northwestern University.
Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Elementary Education from Brandeis University, and a Master of Science in Education from Northwestern University.
